Hope you're on the mend. I had the same surgery last year after stepping on a protruding root when we were on our Canadian train trip. Fortunately, the misstep was only two days from our departure and I got to have the surgery less than a week later. I had the same surgery on my right knee 15 or so years ago when I tried a black diamond in skiing. I still feel an occasional twinge at night in the most recent knee, but I suspect I have a bit of arthritis or condramalacia patella as well.
We missed you at the party. It was fabulous, and Laura's speech made me cry tears of joy.
I love, love, love GEEZER! What a great job you two have done!!!
Dear Cindy, I’m already back to walking around not thinking of the knee, and I just realized this morning I can start jumping rope again because, well, jumping doesn’t feel bad at all. (I’ll probably hold off deadlifting more than a modest amount for another few days.) I’m glad your and your husband’s 175th combined birthday party was a joyous occasion. That’s quite an impressive number for two people to hit. Congratulations and keep going.
Just subscribed to Geezer -looks cool!
Pete, thank you. Geezer is really cool!
