Good comparison, Paul. You may have covered this already, but I’m curious on your thoughts on the effectiveness of dedicated strength training sessions versus doing mini sets spread through the day.

Pete, it's a good question and the best answer is, I imagine, idiosyncratic to your goals and motivation. Annoyingly, I will answer your question with a question (followed by some concrete opinions): what is your main goal in doing either dedicated sessions or more frequent mini sets? If the goal is to build muscle, nothing beats strength training (with proper form, always). But those daily mini sets also build strength. Just probably not as quickly or as noticeably as hour-long gym workouts. So my answer is: do both. I try to do 2x/week workouts with weights at the gym, and the mini sets at home are what i do know every day, as a matter of habit, regardless of my gym workouts. The mini sets are part of my day almost as much as lunch and dinner are.

Obviously, if I don't overlap gym and home sets on the same muscle groups.

Let me know if that's helpful or not helpful. If not helpful, I'll try for a better answer.

Very helpful, thanks Paul!! My instinct was to do both.

Hey Paul! I'm loving your writing voice (humor is what keeps me afloat in the hardest of times). Regarding The Process, I find that in addition to respecting it, trusting it is equally important, as it reminds me to trust myself. Thank you!!

Amy, thank you for your comment and you're absolutely right, trust is integral to the process. I should've included that, but I'm grateful you did here.
