Oh boy, I could not agree more. I have followed Sinclair's for many years and have never found his claims to be supported by science. At one point, all the men I knew of a certain age seemed to be taking his NMN/metformin/resveratrol cocktail. Lately I am getting so many questions about NAD+ injectibles that I have been meaning to write about it. Now, thanks to you, I don't have to!
Annie, thanks for your comment. Coming from an MD whom I respect, and who has exponentially greater knowledge on medical issues than I do, I'm grateful to know you found this piece on target. Dr. Verdin's detailed podcast discussion with Attia goes into the NAD injecton issues, as I recall. Verdin at one point says he discontinued taking NAD+ because his labs came back showing that they were making his health worse. https://peterattiamd.com/ericverdin/
Thanks, Dr. Fenn. I appreciate that. If you have any supplements/peptides you'd suggest I tackle next, or soon, lemme know. Peptides are suddenly everywhere now (except Trader Joe's...but just wait!) It's like peptides are the new collagen.
A pulmonologist recommended that my neighbor take it. She has brachycardia. I tried it having no idea it was a longevity supplement. I thought it was only for breathing better. (I did check with my PCP to make sure it was OK to take.) It has taken away the pressure in my chest when I exercise. I can exercise harder and longer now. Is it the placebo effect?

Good to know. I may have missed that one but I will check it out. I really like this Cheat Sheet series and I can't wait to see what you tackle next!
